Deserts: Cacti

I have always been entranced by cactus. Their shapes and forms make for visually stunning models. Their deafening silence as they stand motionless amongst the fierce monsoon winds. Their ability to resist the harshest of environments and predators. The Giant Saguaro Cactus was what drew me to move to the Sonoran Desert back in 2004, and what I always look forward to seeing when I return from a trip.
