Volcanoes

Few things can compare to the sheer power of a Volcano. Awakening suddenly and working tirelessly as it creates new land, extruding magma from the earth's core. I have been very fortunate to witness the awesome spectacle of creation a few times; both in Iceland. I have photographed the mind blowing event from both the ground and from the air and been humbled by the raw fury of Mother Nature.
